Who we are
Room & Co. Hotels (“we”, “us”) is the data controller for personal data collected through roomcohotels.com. You can reach us at hello@roomcohotels.com.
What we collect
We only collect what you choose to give us through a form on this site — typically your name and email address, and where relevant the hotel, dates, party size and any notes you add to an enquiry. Our servers also process the technical information needed to serve a web page, such as your IP address, at the point of the request.
We do not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies or third-party trackers on this site. Our fonts are served from our own servers rather than a third-party font provider, so loading this page does not disclose your visit to anyone else.
Why we use it, and on what basis
We use your enquiry to answer you. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to someone who has contacted us, and where a booking or stay is being arranged, the performance of a contract.
We use your email for our mailing list only if you have asked us to, on the basis of your consent. Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe, and you can withdraw consent at any time by writing to us.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for up to 24 months from your last contact with us, after which they are deleted. Mailing-list details are kept until you unsubscribe.
Who else sees it
Your data is stored on infrastructure provided by Cloudflare, Inc. and is processed on our behalf under a data processing agreement. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access a copy of your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to data portability. Write to hello@roomcohotels.com and we will respond within one month.
If you are not satisfied with our response you may complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.
Changes
If we change this notice we will update the date at the top of this page.
This notice is a working draft prepared alongside the site build and should be reviewed by the company’s legal adviser before the hotels open and take live bookings.
